The Supreme Court has just released the list of examinees who have successfully passed the 2009 Bar Examinations. This year, out of a total 4,847 examinees, only 982 were able to pass, a 20.26% passing rate. The passing rate was lowered to 72.5%, down from the regular 75% on all eight subjects in the exams. At a news briefing, SC Public Information Office deputy chief Gleoresty Guerra said that Chief Justice Corona has called for a special en banc (full court) session on Thursday morning “for the decoding of the 2010 Bar examinations results.”
